hmmm actually the storyline of M.V is different,good too but the screenplay is where saran has lost completely.I even started having doubts if its a Saran film.Kalabavan mani's character is different and the most important one too in the film but Saran has completely shown negligence in developing his character.The film would have been tremendous had the director made intense scenes separately for mani.The worst part of the film is the romance scenes involving vinay and kajal agarwal.The heroine doesn't have any part in the storyline as usual.Santhanam tries to evoke laughter and wins at many places too..!! The story could have been used well but wasted.And forgot to tell the worser than worst thing from the movie.It is Vinay has dubbed his voice for himself and has made the time out there in the theatre as hell!!! Many good jokes and dialogues has gone lost in his expressionless voice...!!!Modhi Vilayadu is a disappointment for people who expect Saran's gripping storyline,racy screenplay and unusual backdrops he uses...! But the film has some great songs scored by hariharan-leslie!!
